How long does it take to make money as a web designer?

Each person will vary, but in my experience, it is realistic for a beginner to secure their first client within the first 3–6 months of hard work. The first client is the most important, because it shows you that you can do it. Subsequently, sometime in year 2, it's realistic to achieve an entry-level full-time income. Results vary and compound over time. Hard work mandatory.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the nature of FTWD's content, refunds are not issued by default – just like with most online subscription services. There are some cases when a refund will be issued, but these are rare and handled on an individualised case-by-case basis.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You cancel anytime. There are no hidden fees or long-term commitments. Just login, go to your Account and change your subscription settings. Simple as that.

What kind of computer do I need to start?

Any laptop that works. Ideally, an Apple MacBook Pro because the screen quality is just so good – but I understand it may not be in everyone's budget. A new $1,000–ish 14 inch Windows laptop or desktop is perfectly fine. Laptops are better for working-while-travelling of course.

Do I need to learn to code?

Nope. While it is helpful to understand the way code works, you do not need to actually know how to write code. I will teach you how to design and build awesome websites with no code – just like I do for my clients. Actually, this website you're on right now was build with no code.

Is web design over–saturated?

Not even close. Only about 50% of the world has access to the Internet. It's estimated that over the next 10 years, another 4 billion people (and their businesses) are going to get online. This means the internet is about to get much much bigger. There's a major shortage of designers – especially good designers. This is your opportunity.
